Vaccination Guide

All cats must be fully vaccinated against feline enteritis and feline influenza. We'll ask to see your up-to-date Vaccination Record Card upon arrival so please remember to bring it with you.

Kittens (less than 1 year old)

Kittens need two Primary vaccinations given 3 - 4 weeks apart, starting at approx 8 - 9 weeks old. They can then board 2 weeks after the second Primary vaccine has been given.

Adult cats (1 - 2 years old)

If your cat has had two Primary vaccinations given 3 - 4 weeks apart, followed by a first booster 12 months later, it can come into the cattery immediately.

IMPORTANT: If your cat has missed its first booster, the two Primary vaccinations must be given again, 3 - 4 weeks apart. Your cat can then come into the cattery 2 weeks after the second Primary vaccination has been given.

Adult cats (more than 2 years old)

If your cat has had two Primary vaccinations, given 3 - 4 weeks apart as a kitten or older AND has had a first booster 12 months later, it can come into the cattery immediately if its most recent annual booster has been given within 12 months of it's previous booster.

IMPORTANT: If your cat is not up-to-date with its booster vaccination it cannot board until BOTH Primary vaccinations have been restarted by your vet. You must then allow 2 weeks after the second Primary vaccination has been given before your cat can come into the cattery.
